Bird boxes

The birds are starting to nest already (seems earlier every year), hence we must all get bird boxes up ASAP, if not done already. Make sure they are not positioned in a way that allows direct sunlight in through the hole. I would suggest facing them in a North Easterly direction. Be aware of cats gaining easy access to the young birds.
